Comfortfood + kitchenette is a quaint neighborhood spot for the most delicious farm-to-table food you can find for miles! The food is healthy, exquisitely prepared and creative. Our palette blends fresh, seasonal produce and grass-fed meats from local farmers committed to using organic and sustainable methods. Most of the ingredients are local farm-fresh from over 120 regional farms.

You can walk in an order right from our famous chalkboard. There are some popular items you can get "most " of the time, but Chef Kim's offerings change with the seasons based on what the local tri-state farms have to offer! You can take it out cold, or call ahead and have it hot and ready to-go for you! Or even wait at our stunning marble counter with a homemade glass of kombucha and some friendly conversation!

And this is where the "eat-in" comes to play... you are greeted by a long, cool, white marble counter, that sets the stage for the hustle and bustle of deliciousness being prepared behind it. The "open kitchen" design gives everyone sitting at the counter a performance sure to entertain. And those waiting to be seated? They get a glimpse of what is to come! The kitchenette was designed by Chef Kim, as her dream from catering and take-out to restaurant came to reality. The setting is a true signature of the style Chef Kim embodies. The front window is lined with beautiful canned items that are used in her daily menus. The tables simple and comfortable.
Homemade elixirs, kombuchas,and infused waters greet you with the menu. The menu is hand-written, given it changes as much as the seasonal items coming from the farms each day. You can be sure to find some constant dishes that are a signature for the kitchenette. But the true beauty is being delighted with new, interesting, creative offerings. From soups, to sandwiches, to grilled vegetables, to full hot entrees, there is something for every palette... earthy, rustic, and right from the earth.

She lives to cook and loves to share her passion — collaborating with customers to deliver an extraordinary dining experience and offering high-energy cooking in everything she prepares.
